Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness worldwide. Since its founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity International has helped build more than 300,000 houses all over the world, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more than 1.5 million people.
Habitat for Humanity Nepal was founded in 1997, and since then has helped over 70,969 families. Use of local materials and the promotion of traditional technologies helps to keep house prices affordable for families in need.
