Kailali Multiple Campus (KMC) was established in Dhangadhi, Kailali district of Nepal, in 1980 AD. KMC is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) and is approved by the Commission for University Grants of Nepal. In Management, Arts and Education Faculties, KMC offers Bachelor and Master Degree programmes. Consequently, at the request of the citizens of Kailali, the Government of Nepal granted 27 land bighas in the eastern part of Dhangadhi town, where the campus premises are currently located, to Kailali Commerce Campus, which was later renamed Kailali Multiple Campus. Locally, the financial and other services needed for the construction of the campus were gathered.Company sector, social workers, the Kailali District Development Committee, Dhangadhi Municipality, and other segments of the society have usually contributed donations to the Campus fund for this purpose. Based on its historical results, KMC is a QAA Accredited Institution and this campus was chosen by the University Grants Commission ( UGC) in 2008 through a nationwide competition for participation in the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) process. MISSION The mission of the campus is to provide the people of the Far West and the country with access to higher education with a focus on 'Janajatis',' Dalits', women and other marginalized sections. With a view to its goal of converting the campus into a regional university, the campus aspires to be an accredited higher education institution through a concentrated initiative on human capital growth, quality education , physical facilities and program expansion activities. VISION: To be Nepal's globally recognised leading educational institution by concerted initiatives for quality education, focus on students ' overall growth and contribution to serving the society. GOALS: The campus will aim to accomplish some clear strategic targets in order to achieve its vision and purpose, i.e.

• Extension of the curriculum in compliance with the education criteria of the Far Western Region.
• Continued efforts of students towards quality education and all round growth.
• Strengthen the foundation of technology and human capital to turn the campus into a university.
• Qualify and hold the accreditation status for accreditation from the UGC.
• Enhance internal efficacy.
• Achieve sustainability by the extension of the foundation of financial capital.
• Educational organization, socially conscious, fostering good ties with the society.
