Jyoti English Boarding School. JEBS was established as Jyoti (the light) as one of the first English Medium Schools of the Far-western Development Region in 2040 BS (1983 AD) at Dhangadhi-1 by Mr. Ram Prasad Basnet, Mr. Basant Ghimire and Bakt Bahadur Baral with 40 students. It shifted near Salt –Trading at first and behind the Veterinary Hospital as the number of students increased. Presently, it is running at Om-shanti Nagar, Main Road, Dhangadhi by an ideal team consisting of the founder, ex-teachers and its own product (batch 2053/54 BS).
