Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology NEP-TIO, a centre of excellence in the provision of comprehensive eye care services like training; research; manufacturing of intraocular lenses; eye bank and community programme. In July 1992 the Nepal Eye Program was officially launched to help the prevention and control of blindness in Nepal and the region. TIO is the Nepal Eye Program implementing agency, a community-based, not-for-profit organization.
