Welcome to SOS Bahini

SOS Bahini Nepal" in close cooperation with "Cooperation Humanitaire Luxembourg" is implementing a number of projects in Nepal with the main objective to "PREVENT" and/or alleviate worse forms of violence, abuse and exploitation of children, girls & women in Nepal. To this end an all encompassing strategy has been developed with a number of innovative, complementary and interconnected projects that are all designed to educate, protect and empower our beneficiaries’ and help them to live a life in safety and dignity. Founded by Raymond Lindinger from Luxembourg in the year 2004, "SOS Bahini" has evolved to be the leading organization in the western part of Nepal to engage in gender mainstreaming in a pragmatic and efficient way. We are committed to fight against discrimination of underprivileged girls and women and provide for their unique needs and aspirations. Mainstreaming includes gender-specific activities and affirmative action whenever girls or women are in a particularly disadvantageous position. We engage in gender specific actions that prioritize girls and women at risk!
