Asal Chhimekee Nepal (ACN)

Asal Chhimekee Nepal (ACN) – Pokhara is a well‑established non‑governmental organisation (NGO) based in Simpani, Pokhara, Kaski District, Gandaki Province, Nepal, founded in 2003 by the Pokhara Christian Community (PCC) with the vision of serving and empowering poor and marginalised communities across western Nepal. ACN, which translates to “Good Neighbor Nepal,” works to improve grassroots livelihoods by focusing on community development, health awareness, education, disaster response, and long‑term resilience projects that align with national priorities and sustainable development goals.

Over the years, Asal Chhimekee Nepal has expanded its reach beyond Pokhara to support vulnerable populations in districts like Kaski, Nawalparasi, and Gorkha, offering initiatives such as vocational training, income‑generation activities, empowerment of women affected by drug and alcohol dependency, and rapid relief assistance during natural disasters including the 2015 earthquake. As a faith‑based organisation grounded in compassion and service, ACN collaborates with local communities, government bodies, partner organisations, and volunteers to deliver sustainable change and uplift disadvantaged groups.

ACN depends entirely on the generosity of like-minded people. We welcome donations from individuals, groups and donor agencies as well as supporting organizations.
