Social Work Institute (SWI) is a well-known non-profit training and development organization in Nepal that focuses on producing skilled and professional social workers. Established in 1987, it provides training programs, workshops, and community-based learning in areas such as social development, counselling, child protection, drug rehabilitation, and rural community empowerment. The institute aims to develop local leadership and encourage people to work for social change, especially in rural and underprivileged communities. Over the years, SWI has trained hundreds of social workers who actively contribute to community development projects, awareness programs, and disaster response activities across Nepal.
