Shankarapur Hospital is a 55 bed’s hospital registered in Ministry of Industry of Nepal government with registration no. 440033/063/064. The hospital has given authority from Ministry of Population and Health to run 55 beds hospital from 2008 A.D. Shankarapur Hospital is located in eastern part of Kathmandu that covers more than 19 VDC of Kathmandu District. Not only this, certain northern part of Bhaktapur District & western part of Sindhupalchok District are getting direct health care facility from the hospital thus directly catering half a million populations health care needs as there are no other general hospital of this nature in this area. The Hospital combines quality, compassion, integrity, responsibility and accountability in equal measures and will continue to grow and set standards for health care in the eastern part of city and wider region. Shankarapur hospitals’ vision is to strive ahead finding better horizons in healthcare. However, this is just a beginning of a new horizon.

• To provide education in Health Sector and employment and opportunity to train skilled, semi skilled and unskilled manpower.
• To assist the national goal of self – sufficiency in health care.
• Carryout research and development activities for the development of new treatment and technique.
