Welcome to School of Medical Sciences (SMS)

Founded in 2004, the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) is located in Banasthali, Kathmandu, NE. SMS is a member of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and has been active in basic health education for the students who are interested. It began the health education from its Diploma in Pharmacy (DPH) three-year course.After a few years, the Medical Lab Technology Credential (CMLT) was introduced and then the TSLC Lab Assistant Program was introduced. There are two new programmes: Physiotherapy and civil engineering diploma in the pipeline. For SMS, a term "morning shows a day" is still valid because SMS has shown a steady performance in CTEVT results from the beginning and consistently occupies its rank each year until now. Clear goals and expected strategies for achieving excellence in all areas of technical health education are set by 'SMS.'
