Sanothimi Campus, located in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Bhaktapur, is a well-established constituent campus of Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Originally founded in 1968 as the National Vocational Training Center (NVTC) and later affiliated with Tribhuvan University in 1972, the campus has a long-standing reputation for producing skilled vocational technicians and qualified teachers, reflecting its strong commitment to quality education and professional development. The campus offers a diverse range of academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, primarily focusing on education and business studies. Among its notable programs are the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with specializations in English, Mathematics, Science, Nepali, Economics, Geography, and Health and Physical Education; the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), which provides comprehensive training in business and management; the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology in Education (BICTE), which uniquely combines education with IT; and the Master of Education (M.Ed.) with specializations such as Information and Communication Technology in Education (ICTED).
