Pulchowk Campus-Institute of Engineering (IOE) (also known as the Pulchowk Engineering Campus) was established as Tribhuvan University’s constituent campus in 1972. There are four constituent Public Campuses and ten private colleges under the Institute of Engineering (IOE). Pulchowk Campus represents the Institute of Engineering ‘s central campus.It is one of the Institute of Engineering ‘s constituent campuses, and is located in the heart of Pulchowk, Nepal’s Lalitpur district.
Pulchowk Campus offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate degree and doctorate degree. Programs in various Engineering areas. It offers a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering , Law, Electronics and Telecommunications, Architecture Engineering, and an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s.
Pulchowk campus is well equipped with basic laboratories with great strength of faculties and staff, separate buildings for academic and administrative purposes have become the center of excellence in Nepal’s engineering education.

This offers not only Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programs but also Master of Science (M.Sc.) in different fields as well as Ph.D. programmes.An entrance examination for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) programs is conducted each year by the Institute of Engineering (IOE). All Qualified candidates from around the world appear for this exam aspiring to study engineering and only the merit-based students get the chance to study at the Pulchowk Campus.
