People's Dental College and Hospital was established as an autonomous college in 1997, and is proud to be Nepal's first dental college under Nepal Medical Council jurisdiction. Under Tribhuvan University (TU) affiliation it operates independently. People's Dental College Honored by the Nepal Dental Association for the relentless contribution it rendered to the upliftment of dentistry in Nepal by conferring its Associate Memberhip. The People's Dental College and Hospital was founded with the aim of providing up-to - date training facilities to become a trained dental professional and to help meet the the health care needs of the country. Located in the heart of Kathmandu, Peoples Dental College comprises two large buildings for health, academic and administrative pursuits. Every Department at this institute is an efficiently designed, coordinated, and autonomous entity. To ensure maximum productivity, each department has all the infrastructural facilities , equipment, and manpower. It goes without saying that faculty members are excellent academics whose professional acumen is a guiding force and a source of inspiration for any student. Peoples Dental College provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as bachelor's degree in dental surgery (BDS), master's degree in prosthodontics & maxillofacial prosthesis, master's degree in dental surgery (MDS) in peridontology & impantology,Master's degree in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Traditional & Endodontics and Master 's degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.
