Institute of Forestry Hetauda Campus

Inst Institute of Forestry (IOF) / Hetauda Campus has systematically administered its Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Forestry in the academic sector for quality.

In 2004, it grew into a full-fledged university after introducing the Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. program in forestry. The IOF doctoral program is open to all those interested in any forestry-related field. It is a degree program that is research-based.

The IOF has been providing courses relevant to different NRM disciplines and has been modifying its curriculum as time requires. Current curricula include basic science and forestry courses focusing on community forestry, agroforestry, forest management, eco-tourism, park and environmental science, wildlife, recreational management, management of protected areas, and management of soils and waterways.

Today, the IOF ‘s distinguished history of access and quality continues, providing graduate and undergraduate students with unique opportunities to make a difference to the nation in Forestry and Natural Resource Management through technically sound and competent and socially friendly services.Teaching and research at IOF preserve and enrich creative traditions through well-designed educational programs that address the current needs and interests of civil society in the country in the area of forestry and allied fields.
