DAV College, affiliated with Tribhuvan University (T.U) aims to enhance the standard of education through the vision of renowned business organizers to produce a skilled workforce in the region. This is run by an outstanding team of scholars and offers students realistic experiences focused on industry-related business techniques.

The team of experts is completely committed to training qualified DAV students to meet the problems of the 21st century. The college's principal slogan is quality education in an outstanding educational atmosphere. A significant aspect of the college is the strategies and approaches practiced by selected teaching staff in a healthy setting.

In 2003, DAV College of Management, affiliated with the University of Tribhuvan, started running BBA and BBS programmes. Building on existing pedagogy and introducing new methodologies, DAV College of Management cultivates its own teaching and learning community. It puts a high emphasis on the growth of its students' research skills. All of DAV College of Management's faculty are highly qualified and familiar with state-of-the-art teaching pedagogy.

After its inception, D.A.V. has been working steadfastly to achieve its aim of enhancing the standard of education and transforming into a professional workforce for the country's growth. The college remains firmly loyal to its motto—"Eastern Heart and Western Brain "when doing so.

Students at D.A.V. are encouraged to take an assertive part in the classroom debate with the subject teachers and to express their ideas among themselves with confidence and to turn them into behavior after much thought and deliberation.

The college periodically arranges guest lectures, conferences, simulations, job market identity creation, workshops, industrial visits, soft skills learning programs, etc. D.A.V. 's focused spotlights are the teaching of case study, report writing, and presentation — the practical skills students can rely on throughout their subsequent professional career.

The D.A.V. College offers BBA, BBM, and four-year BBS courses at the Bachelor's level for four years (eight semesters). It also offers BCA as of 2019 AD and B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Physics, and B.Sc, as well. Geology from 2014 AD with Tribhuvan University affiliation and a Master's in Business Studies (MBS).
