Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (CDHM) at Kirtipur Campus, under Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University was established in 1987. CDHM has been offering MSc and PhD in Meteorology and Hydrology for more than three decades. However, BSc in Meteorology was started at Trichandra Campus, under TU in 1973. In last three decade of its establishment, 200 students have already graduated from CDHM. Graduates of CDHM have gone to work in divers sector including National Hydrological Meteorological Agency, academia, private consultancies, NGOs and INGOs and some of them holds leading positing in their institution. Our research is globally recognized, our students are highly valued by employers, and our alumni are making significant contributions in academia, industry, government.
