Welcome to Central Department of Computer Science and Information Technology TU

Central Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, runs programs MSc CSIT (the only master's degree in CSIT in Nepal), BSc CSIT and BIT. Several constituent and affiliated CSIT and BIT colleges are run by the central department. The Department is equipped with spacious classrooms and Labs with uninterruptable power supply and high speed internet access for students and faculty with four labs and two classrooms, adequate number of faculty offices and a full-fledged department library besides the Tribhuvan University Central library.

All the classrooms and labs have access to high-speed data network and large projectors for audio and video system. The department is also planning to have a digital library to house books, journals and products. Video conferencing lab and multimedia lab are also in the planning phase.
