The Alka Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2010 with the aim of providing the country's health system with professional health staff. It lies in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal.Alka Institute of Medical Sciences is affiliated to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and Purbanchal University (PU) and conducts Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Nursing Education, CMLT and Health Assistant (HA), Staff Nurse, and Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing (PBBN). Alka hospital has its own institute called Alka Medical Sciences Institute (AIMS). Remarks: -- Equipping students with the requisite skills and a good theoretical context for an effective nurse; -- To fulfill the need for nursing services in the nation and beyond. -- To support the human resources strategy of the countries , in particular in the health sector. -- Retaining links to nursing education. -- Create a well-equipped technical institution to manage the education and training programmes. -Conduct various educational and research programs with other national and foreign organizations in the joint venture in a particular subject field. -- Consider student and trainee education, library management, lab management, and supporting environment.
