Sushma Koirala Memorial Engineering College was founded in 1996 AD (2056 BS) as a technical college in Itahari, Sunsari district of Nepal. It is affiliated with the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council (CTEVT) for the Diploma Programmes. It offers three years of Diploma courses such as Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Computer Engineering for 48 seats per year. It also provides scholarship facilities for a worthy and economically disadvantaged student.
It is also an umbrella body, consisting of Sushma Koirala Memorial Engineering College, Godawari Vidya Mandir High School and Godawari College. This college is located in Itahari, a growing district, a peaceful suburb, and the center of the eastern region of Nepal.
