Nona Koirala Media College in Biratnagar. was established in 2008 AD (2064 BS), which is located in Banlauri Chowk, Kanchanbari, Biratnagar, nepal’s Morang district. It is affiliated with Purbanchal University, and offers full-time Bachelor of Communication and Journalism (BMCJ) degree programs.This is Mofussil’s first journalistic course. According to the Foundation’s General Secretary, Bijay Mishra, any 10 + 2 students who passed could enter the college in any subject. Girija Prasad Koirala, the then president of the Nepali Congress, had created the College in memory of his sister-in – law, the late Nona Koirala.
