Nepal Television Headquarters (Singha Durbar) is the main office and production center of Nepal Television (NTV), the national public television broadcaster of Nepal. It is located inside the historic Singha Durbar complex in central Kathmandu, which also houses several key government ministries and institutions.
Nepal Television was established in 1985 and is the oldest state-owned TV channel in the country. From its headquarters at Singha Durbar, it manages national broadcasting services, news production, and multiple channels including NTV, NTV Plus, NTV News, and regional stations like NTV Itahari and NTV Kohalpur.
The Singha Durbar location is significant because it places NTV at the center of Nepal’s administrative and political hub. From here, the channel broadcasts news, cultural programs, entertainment shows, and live coverage of national events across Nepal and abroad.
