In 2000 AD (2057 BS), the Nepal Dental Hospital and Technical Research Institute was established as a privately owned training institute for dental education in Ramananda Chowk, Janakpur, Nepal's Dhanusa district. It is affiliated with and approved by the Nepal Health Professional Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It provides full-time dental services for three years, such as the Dental Science Degree (Dental Hygiene) for 40 seats per year.This institute also offers scholarship facilities on the grounds of government legislation and the grounds of merit.
