Nepal Heart Foundation, Lalitpur Branch (NHFL), was established as a branch of the Central Nepal Heart Foundation in 1992 (2049 BS). NHFL is an autonomous community-based organization to facilitate preventive, diagnostic, and curative cardiac services. The jurisdiction of NHFL is limited to Lalitpur District of Nepal. NHFL is a non-governmental organization. So, the activities of NHFL are funded by (i) membership fees, (ii) donations from individuals (iii) income generated from the clinic. It operates clinical services to heart patients at a very minimal service fees and is operating at a not-for-profit model. We have been fortunate to have support from various individual donors and well-wishers.
