Kalika Multiple Campus (KMC) is a community based Academic Institution established in southern east part of Pokhara valley in 2048 BS. It is primarily dedicated to deliver quality education to students whose financial situations don’t permit them to pursue higher studies in expensive campuses. The majorities of students studying in the campus includes females, Janajati, Dalits, Muslims and socially and educationally marginalized. As a group of enthusiastic academicians, scholars, representatives of political parties, students, local youth, AamaSamuha and well-wishers realized the burning need of campus in this part of Pokhara valley, KMC came into existence. Initially, it was established in the premises of Kalika Higher School at Rambazar, Pokhara-10. But in 2055 BS, the campus felt the need of its own land and as a result, it was permanently shifted to Kahjipokhari location. It owns 14 ropani of land where two RCC campus buildings and a proposed library block stand now. Currently, there are over 1000 students pursuing higher level studies in this campus.Owing to delivery of quality education, manageable infrastructure, affordable fee and prime location, this campus has high potentiality to grow further in the future as envisioned in its master plan.
