In 2003 AD, Janaki Medical College (JMC) was founded with the motto of producing well-qualified practitioners in general medicine and nursing to help provide local and surrounding areas and all around the world with quality health care facilities and health education at competitively lower prices. It is situated in the Nepalese district of Ramadiya Bhawadi, Janakpurdham, Dhanusa.JMC is affiliated with the University of Tribhuvan and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council (CTEVT). It is approved by the Medical Council of Nepal and the Nursing Council of Nepal. JMC has already opened two hospitals, one with 160 beds in Ramdaiya, where academic activities are also carried out, and another with 365 beds in the centre of the city. Academic and hostel houses, medical services, and administrative blocks make up the grounds of more than 16 Bigahas in Ramdaiya. Teaching-learning events take place on the grounds of Ramdaiya, while the College City Hospital provides students with bedside teaching facilities and internships. The Institute of Medicine (IoM) Tribhuvan University, Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) have regularly inspected the academic and health care facilities offered by the College, and the Janaki Medical College management has incorporated suggestions and recommendations during the inspection to improve its facilities by overcoming difficulties in ordeal. JMC is open to learning from its previous mistakes and eager to take on the responsibilities that will help, by cutting-edge technology, ensure better patient education and hospital facilities.
