Girija Prasad Koirala College of Agriculture and Research is located in Biratnagar. GPCAR is a constituent college of Purbanchal University. Girija Prasad Koirala Agricultural College and Research Center was founded as a fifth constitutive college and launched a four-year full-time Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.) program to meet the increasing need for agricultural education.It is situated in Gothgaun, Biratnagar, in the Morang district of Nepal.

GPCAR offers high-quality agricultural education with a practice-based approach. It offers four-year (8 Semesters) semester-wise agriculture programs to address the need for agricultural education in the region. GPCAR provides Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree programs at an affordable fee rate and also offers scholarship services for well-deserved and financially disadvantaged graduates.It offers numerous services, such as sports, cafeteria, counselling, workshops, auditoriums, educational tours, laboratories, classes, journals, etc.
