Since it’s establishment in September 2013, ECN had been conducting school based ear health programs in community schools and Buddhist Monastic schools of Nepal. ECN is the only organization in Nepal to conduct purely school based ear health programs. School Ear Health Program consists of screening of children for ear diseases and hearing loss, detail hearing evaluation of the children with suspected hearing loss and delivery of primary ear care education to all the children/ teachers for prevention of deafness. We also conduct ear surgeries for restoration of hearing, all free of cost.
