Babai Multiple Campus was established as a community campus in Gulariya, in the Bardiya district of Nepal, in 1987 AD (2044 BS). It is affiliated with University of Tribhuvan (TU) and approved by Nepal University Grants Commission. Bardiya is geographically located in the Terai region, with the district being the most backward in terms of education as opposed to other districts. Has realized that Through their unforgettable participation, the donors, scholars, educators, social workers, politicians and common citizens from various governmental and non-governmental organizations brought this campus into being. While the campus had only introduced teaching-learning programs at the level of proficiency certificates (PCL) in Humanities during its establishment period, believing in farsightedness with never-ending efforts, the campus had succeeded in launching numerous programs in different periods of time. Because of the people, academics, due support, desire, intension and enthusiasmIntellectuals, members of civil society, leaders, governmental and non-governmental bodies, students and district guardians actively carried out Ten plus two initiatives affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB). The campus will certainly try its best to prove itself to be a great hallmark in the educational arena, as a great institution for producing reignited educational manpower and successful professionals for the country. Babai Multiple Campus offers Bachelor and Master's degrees in Faculty of Administration, Humanities, and Education. Methodology to teach: Specific teaching methodologies are implemented in the classroom to make the teaching-learning even simpler. We use lecture, discussion, interactive presentation and PowerPoint presentation, student presentation, panel discussion, conference, workshop, and other modern forms of contemporary learning. Mission: BMC 's goal is to provide a superior learning environment through educational excellence, learning atmosphere through instructional excellence, commitment to student needs, and partnership with other organizations to improve BMC's own capital. Targets: The following priorities serve as the basis for progress on the overall strategic planning process for the BMC. Such strategic priorities represent and support the BMC 's mission (vision), as well as the BMC 's key challenges , opportunities and strategic concerns outlined earlier in the SWOT review.
- The BMC will develop a system to improve quality and service delivery according to the students, faculty , staff and community needs.
- The BMC should have the tools required to offer academic excellence.
- Through recruiting students for both socially , politically, and culturally marginalized classes, the BMC would boost gender equality in higher education.
