Akala Secondary School, Gorkha (अकला माध्यामिक विद्यालय, गोरखा) was established in 1930 (1987 BS) as a public academic institute located in Palungtar Municipality-8, Dhuwakot, Gorkha district Gandaki Province of Nepal. It is affiliated to National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Nepal. This Secondary School offers Ten Plus Two programs under the Education and Management streams. Akala Secondary School, Dhuwakot, Gorkha provides a Grade 1 to 12 (Secondary Level) education with moderate and affordable fees structures. It also offers scholarships schemes for deserving, hardworking and the underprivileged students of the society. Akala Secondary School (ASS) provides Classrooms, Computer Labs, Counseling, Extra-curricular Activities (ECA), Sports, Counselling, Conference, Excursion Educational tours, and scholarships facilities.
