NepalHRM is a cloud-based HR, payroll, and attendance platform built in Kathmandu for businesses operating in Nepal. It was created to address the gap left by general-purpose foreign HR systems that often do not fully support Nepali payroll requirements such as PF, CIT, SSF, IRD income tax slabs, the Bikram Sambat fiscal calendar, local pricing, and local support. NepalHRM brings these needs together in one platform with pricing in NPR and support available in both Nepali and English. The payroll system is designed around Nepal-specific requirements, including Provident Fund, Social Security Fund, Citizen Investment Trust, IRD income tax calculations, and the Bikram Sambat fiscal calendar. It can generate bilingual Nepali and English payslips, salary bank transfer files, IRD eTDS files for upload, and CIT contribution calculations. By keeping salary, deductions, contributions, and tax information connected, NepalHRM helps reduce manual payroll work and improves overall payroll accuracy. For attendance management, NepalHRM supports both office-based and field-based teams. Biometric devices such as ZKTeco and Hikvision can sync attendance punches directly to the cloud, while employees working at locations without biometric devices can check in through GPS using the mobile app. Shifts, rotations, overtime requests, grace periods, and public holiday rules based on the BS calendar can also be managed within the same system, with attendance data flowing directly into payroll without the need for separate Excel exports. Beyond payroll and attendance, NepalHRM supports the broader employee lifecycle through employee records and organizational charts, leave management, recruitment and applicant tracking, onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews and OKRs, asset and procurement management, employee helpdesk, reimbursements, employee self-service, and Android and iOS mobile access. An optional activity tracking feature is also available through Windows and macOS desktop agents. Employees can use self-service tools to manage attendance, leave, payslips, reimbursements, and other essential HR information from their phones. NepalHRM is priced per active employee in NPR with no minimum commitment, making it suitable for businesses of different sizes. Teams with up to 10 employees can use NepalHRM free forever.
