Civil Service Hospital (Nijamati Karmachari Hospital ) was handed over to the Government of Nepal (GoN) by the People's Republic of China (PRC) on November 14, 2008. It was started Out-patient service from March 29, 2009. The 132-bedded and fully equipped Civil Service Hospital was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on May 30, 2009.
