Shepherd College of Media Technology was founded in 2002, as its first step towards helping Media career students. It is affiliated with the University of Purbanchal (PU) and has helped to generate many Batches in BMT and MMT each year, and to become skilled in media, IT and mass communication skills.Shephered College is Nepal's first media technology education hub and its students have been deployed with top journalism courses and realistic experiences that resonate with their favorite dreams. Academic courses of excellence are, on the one hand, a major asset of the college and, on the other hand, often and regularly cater for the training and orientations towards mid-career journalists and media citizens, where students can also enter these activities.In addition to offering a diverse, realistic atmosphere for its students, we believe it is their responsibility to help students devise innovative approaches to resolve various hurdles. The faculty, students and alumni's continuous and consistent commitment has helped it maintain a top-notch place. Shepherd College of Media Technology has extended its curriculum from a Bachelor of Media Technology to a Master of Media Technology, with the growing demand for Media place. At the same time as we saw the need for a four-year bachelor degree in media, we extended our three-year Bachelor of Information Technology course to a four-year programme.This helped its students to gain recognition for university admissions and global jobs abroad
