The Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) was established in 1996 AD (2053 BS) in Nepalgunj, Nepal district of the Banke zone. This college currently operates at Chisapani Basic Science Campus and at Kohalpur & Nepalgunj Teaching Hospitals. The Nepalgunj Medical College is affiliated with the University of Kathmandu (KU) and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council of Nepal (CTEVT).Nepal Medical Council accredits it for MBBS services and Nepal Nursing Council for PCL Nursing programmes. Since 1997 this college has offered MBBS Programme. It has Teaching Hospital with 1050 bedded. The Lord Buddha Educational Academy, Nepalgunj manages this college to accomplish the mission of improving the nation by teaching excellence in the education field. This is a group of renowned businessmen and medical practitioners who have joined hands to establish an institution of education.Lord Buddha School, Kohalpur is affiliated with the PCL Nursing system of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
