Welcome to Land Management Training Center

The Land Management Training Center (LMTC) is the only governmental institution under the Ministry of Land Reform and Management to contribute continuously and substantially to the development of human capital and the conduct of research activities in the field of geo-information science since its establishment in 1968 AD. The center has already trained over 5000 survey technicians at various levels through different types of survey and mapping training programs, land administration, and various digital mapping technologies. The equipment used for center training is very new. The Land Management Training Center is also proud of the research and program carried out within LMTC. LMTC has carried out long-term training programs consisting of senior survey training, junior survey training and basic survey training. In partnership with Kathmandu University (K.U.), the center has launched the academic course Geomatics Engineering since 2007 AD.In addition, the center has run versatile technical short-term courses in GIS / LIS, Remote Sensing, Land Administration, and many more as required by government. In the area of Land Management we have strong Student goods. Land Management Training Center is located about 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu, in Bakhundol, Dhulikhel Municipality of Kavrepalanchok district. The longitude and latitude are 85020'11 "E and 270 42'59"N, respectively.The educational environment is enhanced by the panoramic view, a moderate climate all year round and its proximity to the University of Kathmandu. The school has its own Administrative Building, Training Building, Library, Study, Boys and Girls Hostel, Staff Room, Canteen, Playground etc. The total LMTC area is about 2.9 Hectare.
